This beautiful, and now rare (convertible with hard-top) Renault Caravelle left the factory on the 4 April 1968, making it one of the last Caravelle models to leave the Boulogne-Billancourt production line.

 

As a convertible supplied with hard-top, the Caravelle was considered as one of the most stylish Renault cars ever, adored by many discerning European customers between 1963 and 1968.  

 

This car has been lovingly maintained by its current owner, a devoted Renault enthusiast located in the South of France, with no expense spared. As a previous Renault Sales Agent, he actually managed to purchase the car from the customer he sold it to!

 

With an owner so passionate about the Renault marque, this Caravelle is also beautifully detailed, including some very nicely preserved manufacturer and service sticker labels.

 

Finished in a stunning light metallic bordeaux paint in excellent condition,  interior trim is also excellent, finished in black vinyl. The car has recently undertaken a thorough condition assessment for insurance purposes, the Expert report is present with the car, as are all maintenance invoices.
