VEHICLE DETAILS

1961 JAGUAR MKII 3.8L
LHD / ORIGINAL EXAMPLE

This original LHD French market MK2 was delivered new to the famous Paris-based Jaguar dealer, Charles Delacroix in 1961 -  the Delacroix dealer plaque is still retained on the car.

Having benefitted from a mechanical overhaul 5 years ago, this Jaguar is mechanically sound, providing an authentic sports driving experience, true to the reputation that the MK2 had in its day when examples were famously owned by 1958 World Champion Mike Hawthorn and Graham Hill.

This Jaguar is not a concours winning classic car, instead the original paintwork and interior are beautifully patinated, providing a refreshingly authentic and original 'time-warp' feel, something to which a growing number of classic car enthusiasts of today are quite rightly attracted to.
